You may have mistaken your fogs for DRL. 04-06 don't have Day time running lights, but we have fogs inside the headlights. If you turn on the fogs and the regular lights, you will seethat the fogs are on the inner most part of the lights. They are more toards the grill, in other words.

0o(grill)o0

The 0(zeroes) would be the HIDs, and the o(o's) would be the fog lights.

As you can see, on the right side, you will see the head light and the fog light. They're not on, but I think you can distinguish the difference.

It almost looks like two different circles.

04-06 fogs only in headlight next to HID

07-08 fogs in lower bumper grill, day time running lights in headlight next to HID

many have installed fogs in the lower bumper grill however

I installed Philips Premium lamps in my '04 manual TL's fogs about a year after I bought the car. They put out about 30% more light on the road and to the side. This is important to me since the area in which I live has a bunch of critters running around and I want to see them in enough time to keep from hitting them. The fogs work quite well.

Correct. I just replaced the stock 9006 lamps with the Premiums. I have used these lamps before in other applications and have been quite pleased with them. They throw a bit more light to the front and front-sides of the roadway to give increased visibility.

I bought them from www.autolamps-online.com.

BTW, I just went by Wilmington, NC last Sunday (a week ago) and this past Friday. No offense to our New York friends, but I have to ask why you would leave Wilmington for the northeast? You're so close to the low country in Wilmington.. one of God's gifts.

Besides putting the 07-08 fogs in there...people have also put in 04-06 Accord fogs.
