Curious if Acura did anything about the rattles with the 2007 refresh. Any feedback?

I took delivery of my '07TL 29 Dec and have yet to hear any rattles or sqeakes like in my '06.

 

A slight vibration / rattle in the driver's door trim or upper seat belt pillar mount! haven't really pin pointed it yet!....where's your's comming from Bob ?

 

yes , I got a little vibraation/rattle either from the driver's door trim or plastic seat belt mount on the b- pillar.....where's your noise comming from?

 

I have one annoying one, thought was from auto headlight sensor, but appears to be right behind the upper side of tach. If I get ambitions I may pullt the cluster trim or swing by dealer, my dealer has service unti midnight

 

007TL-S

Traded my 2005 TL for a 2006 RL. Although my TL had a few rattles, the dealer was able to get rid of them. TL was a great car, however the stiff suspension tuning was getting to be a little annoying. Plus I got a killer deal on the RL that was too good to pass on.

No rattles from the RL. For me the suspension tuning is spot on. Way better leather quality. Only thing better in the TL was the ELS sound system.

Reason for the post was nothing more than curiousity, especially since I chatted with a friend who has an '05 TL with lots of rattles.

The only thing that rattles in mine is the actual keyring that hangs from the key in the ignition. Since the end of it is metal and the ring is metal, it vibrates. This is more noticeable to me since the TL-S is so much quieter than my TSX was.

 

2,500 miles on my '07 TL-S and not a single rattle yet. <knock on wood>

 

07 TL with 6000 miles and no rattles yet (knock on wood) except for that stupid 6 inch sub in the bak that was fixed with a rag being shoved under it

 

07 Type S. Only 400 miles on it, but not so much as the slightest hint of a rattle.

 

All 3G TLs will suffer from rattles. Only a lucky few have had no rattle problems with their TLs. The good thing is that the rattles seems to decrese in number and intensity from 04 - 07 models.

 

My '04 6MT has not rattle one at 63K. I have yet to have a single mechanical, interior quality, or warranty issue.

 

The RL sound system is much better than my TLs sound system. Since I own both I get to hear them a lot.

 

I have a slight rattle in the passenger side. Doesn't matter to me much though. When I have the music on, I can't even hear it.

 

Well, pimpin, to me the ELS system sounds better. When I play the TL demo DVD-A disc in the RL it lacks the base and crispness I heard in the TL. Granted, both systems are terrific, but I just prefer the sound of the TL system more. And that is the opinion of a NON-Audiophile.

I have a intermittent rattle (comes and goes) coming from the keyfob on our '07 TL 5AT/Navi. No other rattles so far.

 

My only rattle is from the key, too. Have an 07 TL-S with 800 miles or so. Never hear it with the radio on, which it is 90% of the time.

 

07 TL... i heard a rattle two days ago.. it was right in the dash under the gauge cluster... i tapped on the panel a little and it went away... 498 miles...
