I'm preparing for my isle/floor lighting install in my 06 and im looking for a suitable OEM dimming switch to wire in with my floor lighting. Just wondering if the 07s came with dimming switches??

Well 07-08 Type-S has dimming buttons, I dont know the base

 

does it I didnt see it on the acuraoemparts diagram for all switches. Do you have a picture? Where is it located?

 

On the Type S its located on the left of the speedometer. There is a MAX button and a + and - button. according to the picture you posted it is on there where number 2 and 3 are.

Oh ok so there is no independent floor lighting illumination control. I didn't expect this because on my Acura Legend I had 2 knobs one for the dash/gauge lights and one specifically for the floor lights. Looks like I just need to find a nice looking dimmer knob that matches the current buttons

 

Right. No floor lighting control.

Just the dash/guage cluster brightness, I think, is all it controls.
