Do your doors swing too freely?

Don't know if it's just my car, but my driver's side door wants to close too easily! When attempting to get out of the car, I have to push the door open "just right" so that it stays "notched" and open, otherwise it will swing closed (often on my leg!).
Conversely, when I get in the car, sometimes the door swings closed right behind me, giving me little time to get my legs in!!!

One other thing I notice is that giving the door just the slightest amount of force (barely pushing it) is enough to get it to swing all the way shut. This is bad because I always have to tell people not to slam my doors!!! They don't, but the all it takes is a normal push and SLAM!!!!

Happened to me too. I learned quick though to open it and stop it at the catch I want, which is all you can do really unless you feel like messing with the hinge.

Believe it or not, this is actualy an option. It's automatic closing doors, meaning you don't have to apply any force to close the door. I got used to it and enjoy the feature. Only down side is passengers don't know this and often slam the door. Your back doors don't have this feature. Hope this helps.

meh, my shins have built up extra bone mass from being constantly slammed that it doesn't hurt THAT much now.

The dome-courtesy lights will automatically go off (I forget the exact time but it is not long) if you don't get the door closed all the way. However, the map lights will not, so try not to leave them on accidentally.
