Ok, this may be a stupid question...but how do you really know the premium gas your pumping into your car is really premium and not some middle or low grade gas? Especially the pumps that have one nozle. Is there some one out there that actually goes and checks these gas stations out? I am just being paranoid

Generally, each state has an agency that oversees the quality of fuel and the accuracy of the delivery system at gasoline stations. It might be the Dept of Weights and Measures or something like that. Check with your states list of departments.

we need octane gauge added on our MID (lol)
I never fill up at no major brand gas stations. I do go to station with national supermarket chain brand though cuz they give the best deal.
I'm worried sometimes when I go to remote area out of town. how do I know if I'm really paying for premium.
