I've seen a poll like this before. Anyway, I chose the male voice. I left the female voice on thinking it would sound like the Lexus one and man was I wrong, it sounded horrid.

I thought the female speaking dirty , I mean giving me directions/info,
would be novel.
WOW! What a harsh sounding bitch--so stern.
I have to explain to my male and female friends: that the women was the first choice until I felt I was being scolded--Then the male voice.
No rainbow sticker on my car...
but the male voice sounds better--they should have got Carmen Electra or Brooke Burke to suck on the microphone,,,I mean to speak into the microphone.
The female voice is on the Handsfree link though..
(F) "Pardon?" (F) "Please repeat."
I notice that the male voice UNDERSTANDS the command with a higher % rate.
The female voice doesn't understand me as much.
Is there a psychological factor to the male and femal software in the TL??????

I like the male voice now, because I had the 99 and 00 TL with female voice, and I wanted to hear something different...
The male voice is a little smoother too.
The female voice I love is the one for the Bluetooth Handsfree link, it's a different person (or voice pitch).

I had a 2000 TL and my girlfriend dubbed the female voice in that car "Miko", after we figured out that she was clearly a native Japanese speaker with a damn good American accent (listen carefully if someone still has one). I actually got to like it. The female voice in the new one is definitely a native English speaker (canadian/american). I've tried both of them and don't really have an opinion yet.
