I hate it.

My headliner isn't falling, but the thought that it might fall keeps me up at night.

I have no rattles, but I keep turning down the radio to check if I hear any.

The tires seem OK to me, but I'm furious about them anyway.

It's all driving me crazy. I can't take it anymore. What a horrible car. What was I thinking?

For a new model, Acura did a great job overall with the TL. Great exterior, great interior, awesome Nav, DVD Audio, voice command, Blue-tooth, and 270 hp....all for $35K (or less) and Honda reliability......what more can you ask?!

Dude! I suggest you double up on the Prozac and switch to decaf. The car will look a lot better then.

indeed.

that said, i still dunno if i'm gonna go g35 or tl. drove my first tl today. black/black, 6mt, no navi. great stuff. clutch is pretty jumpy, but definitely nice and sporty too.

being in 3rd and only going 25 or so, it still had lots of pickup. handled beautifully, xm radio rocks, etc.

i'm gonna do an extended test drive of each car before biting. can't wait

Ummm ... What are we talking about here? Gerbil-ramming? Definitely hate that, and I don't want to talk to Acura about it.

No offence man, but I suggest that you see a shrink specializing in paranoia. Or, just sell the car and buy a bicycle or something. Or, maybe no bike, you might just get worried about the chain breaking or something if you change gears too fast! :smokin:

Love the styling hate the quality..

I woudl rather vote, most disspointing car I have owned. It is not a horrible car, but has been a huge disspointment. Numerous squeaks and rattles. The worst one in the back deck is fixed, that took over 3 days and finally 5 screws to make it so now you only hear it under the most extreme and probably not usual listening conditions. I suspect they will never get most of the other squeaks and rattles under control unless I let them rip the car apart and/or drive it over bumps all day long. Leather is sub-par for this class. And dare I mention the tires and Honda's lack of concern. The styling and name are what attracted me, but my I30 and I35 were built to far hiher quality standards than this car, and I had an early 2000 I30 during its first model year and never had any issues! If this car were under $20k then I would love it, but for a $32k car it is a huge disspointment, counting down the 2 years before I can afford to trade it and go back to Infiniti!

Well I love it. All 1000 miles I put on it. Actaully 1002. I left it home today. Weather looked iffy and she needed a break. I get in this car and touch everything. Every time I buy a new Acura it is like an addiction. My friends cant wait till I get over 1. parking it away from everyone 2. letting it stay dirty for more than 2 days. 3. let someone bring as simple as a bottled water in the car. 4. stop leaving it home in the garage during the week and drive it. I save the weekends for all that though. Me my Acura and my XM stereo.

Lovin' it so far--most bang for the buck.

Although, I don't know if it is Love or Lust.

I'm also starting to check out some of the newer cars--CHEATING?

All-in-all, it's a great ride.
The paint seems like it is still floating/settling a bit.
The new rock chips are mooshy.

Despite the headliner issue, which is now fixed, I've had no real problems with this car. Compared to the Euro-trash these days, I really love my TL.

Was not going to buy an Acura again... (DGMW) loved my Vigor
I just felt new 2nd Gen cars where too "understated" and had no SASS
I wanted something that made me want to drive again..

I thought TSX at first... it too is invisible...nice but no SASS

Then I saw the new TL and the 6MT & the 270 and then I drove one, and then I drove the other cars, and then I looked at the price of maintaining those other cars..
and then ...

well you know the rest... the TL is a FREAKY and SASSY thing...
I am a happy boy once again....
