The tilt feature is the best thing since sliced bread come summer in Texas. After the car has been parked in the sun for a while, you can pop the moonroof when you start up the car and the car cools down much faster than without it open since it helps vent the hot air out the top. Once the temperature is reasonable again, just close it up.

He's just kidding...it's the Type R badges that give him the HP increase...

I don't open my roof either way very often because the car has not completely lost the aroma of new leather yet, but I did tilt it the other night because I ripped a horrible fart and I wanted to try to blow the stink out the roof but it was too cold to slide it all the way open.

Hey 1995hoo, Thanks for sharing, not!

As long as it's not raining or too cold I have my moonroof tilted. I especially like that with it tilted I can remotely open all the windows without the moonroof opening.

I tried this in my TSX yesterday, just cracked the passanger rear window and tilted the moonroof.

You get a perfect tunnel of air aimed right at you, cooling you down nicely, and there is very little noise to go with it.

There is a point to every function in your vehicle. Let me give you a small trick on using your TILT.

If you're alone and want to get the most breeze out of your car in the back of your head. Open the rear right window for just a bit. Then tilt your moonroof. You will feel an incredible sense of fresh air constantly hit the back of your head. Sort of soothing. Do the reverse for passenger. Now if you open both rear windows, it won't work.

you're welcome

The one thing that is missing is vents in the sliding shade for the moon roof similar to Mercedes.
That way you can vent the out hot air out while keeping the sun block.

That makes even less sense, they just add weight. You guys arent making any sense.

Its more ammusing to watch other people stoned off there ass, and fight them for their car keys.(didnt get to the last guy in time with his moms new volvo, I figured hed be ok, but after his parents saw the recked car....

A '4 down blow thru' is much quicker and more effective than sunroof tilt in fixing that problem.

4 down blow thru = all four windows express down at hwy speeds

You have to be in a position to go on the highway to do that. Tuesday night I was not in that position. Thankfully the sunroof tilt did the job--no smell left in the car on Wednesday morning!
