One of the mods on AZ sent me a sticker for the window. I put it on and had to move it when i got my college thing for the window. It would not stick back on... I would need another in order to use it

There are at least 3 3G TLs I pass on the way to work every morning and I felt compelled to wave or flash my lights at them, but I never do. They're all older women and they'd probably wonder WTF, but I'll do it tomorrow to see what they'll do. And when I see other TLs next to me, I'm too busy looking at their brake calipers than the drivers.

I always try and see if the other driver's lookin my way so I could give'm a thumbs up or something. Most of the drivers around SoCal are pretty stuck up with a mentality of "my car's cooler than your's" attitude. Dude, we've got the same car! I don't get it.

This would indeed be great! I'd buy several just to reach whatever minimum was required (within reason).

Here in the DC area, TLs are all over. And I work right across the street from an Acura dealer, so that may explain some of it.
I always try to make eye contact, but never much luck.

I counted 5 TL's today.... zero black calipers, other than mine
I have started to get a kick out of waving - no return waves yet.... I picked up the habit on the Ducati... (why oh why did I sell it? Ha...) Motorcycle riders always get a head bob...

I do it often in Las Vegas.
But in Las Vegas of the owners are older people.
And they are a little stuffy and cold.
Unlike Cali where there are more younger or hip cool people.

I think the whole waving to other owners of the same mass-produced car thing is completely played out.

I think it is fun.... I like the sense of community on the board- it is the same thing really- waving at a fellow TL'er.. even if no one has waved back- I still enjoy looking like a bit of a loon , happily waving at somone- who is looking at me like'what the heck is wrong with that guy?'

The TL is mass-produced, but it's not THAT common. Besides, how often do you see Impala or Camry meets?

Most Tl owners I see are way to old to give a sh*t so I never give or get a wave. I stopped to talk to some guy at a gas station once but I could tell he was not a car guy and couldn't care less about what he was driving as long as it looked good.

I went to the gas station yesterday and there was a Blue TSX with navi. He had it nice and clean and he was on his black RAZR while pumping. Im thinking to myself "This guy knows and likes his stuff". He hung up and I said nice car. He says to me "yea" and gets in his car and floors it. I was like wow what a douche.

I see several of them every day on my way to and from work, and there are 4 others in my parking garage at work - there are probably more in the three other parking garage levels that I don't park in.
Face it, we have a really nice but fairly common car. If you get a new Z06, then you should wave to the others.

I personally don't like it when someone comments on my car...I don't know how to react w/o seeming too full of pride....I might come across as a snoby person!
Just other day these guys in a vw passatt waived me down....they were debating how much my car was...the driver said 45K and the passenger was saying 50K...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Back on topic...
I just had a first last night. I was driving home from work on I-480 east when I saw an anthracite TL with a youngish dude in the next lane. We passed one another in heavy traffic until we got onto the 480-271 spur, where I usually get into the fast lane and blow by folks at 80 mph or so (lighter traffic). Pass the anthracite and the guy keeps up for a while.
We merge onto 271 south and there's ANOTHER TL, an SSM, in the passing lane. So we're a TL per lane (total 3 TLs now) for a little while until I have to switch lanes to get off at my exit and the SSM speeds off in the fast lane. No one waves, I guess we're all to busy keeping on the slightly wet pavement, but that's OK. Any of those guys here?
There's no accounting for good taste, I guess. Can't wait to distinguish mine from the rest (see mod list below).

When ever Iam driving, I look at other tl's but they are never looking back. But I did see one that gave me a hello, and I replied. One time I went to work out at Lifetime fitness (a gym right by my house), I always park backwards and all the way in the back. When I came out there was another tl that parked the same way, which was pretty cool.
I have noticed that the other tl drivers are women and older men.
