Just wondering if the side marker lights on the 05 TL flash when you have the turn signal on. You'd think Acura would've fixed this.

There is an EE who posted directions on how to make them blink with your turn signals. If you are good with electronics, it didn't seem too difficult. Do a search for the thread.

I hear from a friend's friend who read it from a Russian website that the 2008 TL will have side-mirror turn signals. Also, no news on an AWD TL...

Somehow I must muddle on without my side marker light blinking - isn't that an urban crowding feature anyway? In Ammurricah we got a lot of room and are not all sardined in like the Euros and the Asians. I find those side blinkers annoying, personally - movement in our peripheral vision evokes a threat response - it is programmed in our limbic brains.

The limbic side of my brain?
Is that on the left side, right side, frontal lobe, aft side, port side or underside?

The limbic side of the brain controls the limbs of the body, namely the left arm (in the US, of course), which was used before they had blinking lights, or even side marker lights, to signify your intention to deviate from the straight and narrow.

I think blinking side marker lights would be an added safety feature, would not be physically unattractive, and the subject could be marked: case closed. The same could be said for the "why don't they have turn signals in the side view mirrors" thingy.

I would give you the actual answer, but it would take away from the thread.

(Isn't it against the rules for three Mega Moderators to be in the same place at the same time where we could all be taken out by terrorists with one grenade?)
