The only comments I've got regarding my TL are along the line of "what's not to like about this car"
It's a great car....and anyone with a brain who rides or drives it knows it instantly. I always get great comments about the 6mt tranny, and how great it shifts especially since I switched to GM-FM tranny fluid. Also, everyone comments on how tight and quiet the car is inside. The paint is awesome since I've got on the Zaino program. I LOVE MY CAR!

I've had my TL now for about 2 months. I've had pure sports cars, I've had econo-boxes, I've had american sedans and I've driven (never owned) pure luxury vehicles. To me, the TL is the hybrid mix of all of these. Classy enough to be a luxury car, enough power to be considered sporty, good enough gas mileage to be considered efficient (on the road) or at least not a gas guzzler (in town) and a decent size so I can fit my kids in the back seat if/when needed. What more could I ask for?

As a few others have stated... I don't particularly care what others say, *I* love the car.

My wife doesn't like my car, says it's too low and uncomfortable for her to ride in. One time she accused me of buying because she couldn't ride in it comfortably. I think she was giving me too much credit but it works for me!!

I don't know anyone who doesn't like my car, including 2 friends with BMWs, one of whom is ready to trade in his Z4 and is considering either a TSX or TL. From the interior to the exterior, never heard a discouraging word. Hell, some friends have even made semi-joking offers to trade their car for mine... I say "semi-joking" in the sense they're not really serious, but if I agreed for some reason, they'd hold me to it.

I had a Dodge Stealth Twin-Turbo for about 3 years. In that time, my wife drove it maybe 10 times. The clutch was VERY stiff and it had crazy torque/hp with AWD... she hated driving it. Which worked out well for me.

The TL is an upgrade from a Mazda 626. The wife rarely drove my 626 but now finds all kinds of reasons why she needs to take my TL places.

this is where the Lexus ES comes in...our TL's ride is not nearly as smooth and quiet.

Maybe the ES/LS, but not the IS/GS! We were seriously considering a Toyota Avalon while shopping for this car, that is till we read the Road & Track report that referred to it as the "Geaser Pleaser!"

Me too. I was VERY close to a black Avalon touring sedan, even with spoiler and side mouldings it still looked like gramps car (but I digged the ebony on stainless interior).

VERY happy with my TL (and I've heard they're having transmission probs with the avalons and some of the camry's and es330's).

We were looking at the White Pearl Limited. I was really digging the heated and cooled seats and the extendable seat bottom of the driver's seat. But, there were major issues with their Navigation System, like you had to be stopped and in park to change a destination mid-trip. Yea, like I'm going to pull over to the side of the highway and put my car in park just to see what fast food joints are ahead! I don't think so... With the TL, it's as easy as asking where the closest fast food joints are and up pops a list, regardless if your cruising at 75 MPH or standing still! And the Avalon Limited did seem to "float" down the road...

TL is classy enough to pull up to a club and get people to stare at. When I pull up at my club, people ask "why not get a BMW or a BENZ?"
My answer to them is simple : "it doesn't have the balls like mine"

The new style Avalon was nice when it came out, but it's a Buick for the Acura person
I like the LS 600L coming soon But that would be my cruiser I don't care for the ES 350. Its very nice, but TOO much like the Camry

That wasn't a geaser pleaser! Far from it! LOL! My comment was in keeping with that theme. The car felt like an older person's car and she complained about everything!

Most people love my car.

When it rattles, I hate it though.....this past week I've been drooling over the new Tundra. If the rattles aren't fixed, my hatred might cause me to own a new truck...

Car drives so nice though!

i usually get nothing but compliments on my 07 TL, however one particular person at my college, a senior (i'm a sophmore)...created a group on facebook about me, titled "i dont pretend to be rich, so people like me" and talked about just because you drive an Acura with Nav does not mean that you're rich...which i fully understand, seeing as how the car was only $35k...whatever though..i got my car in january as an 07, and he JUST got a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport last month and thinks its the greatest

well my gf loves my car and hates me...she keeps saying I love it more than her..dont we all get that?

and yeah...I think the people that actually hate the TL are the jealous ones that can't accept the fact that TL beats their cars in every aspect.

i meant "only $35k" as in you get a lot for the money. My previous car, a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Special Edition, was more expensive than my TL ($37.5k), but lacked most features my new car has, such as the bluetooth and the Nav. If i still had the Grand Cherokee, i'm sure people wouldn't be hating on me even though in reality it was still a more expensive car. I don't care what people say though, i love my car and i worked hard to get it...the kid who created the group is just jealous.

this dude in a TL-S was giving me that "my car is better than yours" stare as he was crossing in front of me to get to his car - I gave him the "walk faster or get ur ass run over stare"
he got the memo. both mine and his are beautiful cars, but gloating is unnecessary.
