Well i gotta buddy with a Z4 3.0 and id really like to beat him. what do you guy think, is it just wishful thinking?

Hmm. I don't know much about Z4's (I'm assuming it's the BMW Z4?) But based upon the 1/4 mile time you posted, I think he'll edge you out. 14 flat is damn near impossible to get with our TLs without Forced Induction.

Run a search, I think Uglypsycho posted timeslips once and with his supercharged 2nd Gen TL-S he didn't break into the 13s... came very close though!

Yeah, Nos will put you into the 13s. But considering how frequently you're racing, it will stress your engine faster than a supercharger.

I've never had Nos myself... had a forced induction setup before... but if I had nos.. i think i'd have a hard time not using Nos whenever a decent challenge came my way!

 

If he didnt break into 13's with boost he had a leak somewhere. I boosted TL-S should run minimum 13.5 and from what I've seen 13.1 is the best time boosted on a 6spd CL. You get a 14.1 with I/H/E/P . All numbers depend on the driver and condition of the car of course.

 

My best time on a 3rd Gen TL 5AT was 13.12 at 108mph. With a supercharger and a 50 shot of N20.

 

Damn, I'm sure if you were willing to do a 75shot it would be 12.9, but either way 13.12 is very impressive.

 

welli just lost to the z4 3.0 by about 3/4 of a car. we did it from 30-110

 

my uncle had a z4, i got to drive it a few times. thing was pretty quick

 

ive driven a 2.4 z4... it seemed slow as shit to me... but the 3.0 im sure hauls ass based on the size of the car... im not sure on the actuals specs of either one though

 

whatt how can a supercharge tls not break into 13... SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH HIS MOTOR THEN. Man i have a TLP. little MOD. and 75 shot NOS. I made it into 13's if you don't believe me u can ask my cousin who has A white TLS he's a member of Acurazine just don't have his SN. RIGHT NOW MY CAR no spray i can walk him from start to finish. he has headers comptech icebox and blah blah.. BUT seriously if you invest in a supercharger and not break 13's then mannnnn that sucks.
