I love this feature by the way. I think it is one of the coolest in the car. Do other cars have this, or is this an Acura thing?

I prefer just one at a time....the curbside one to tilt down so I don't scraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaape my shoes and then the outside mirror to stay as is to look out for oncoming traffic as I park.

To each their own I guess.

i prefer one at a time as well. i recently took in a friend's range rover to get fixed and both tilt down. i had no idea how to stop them from tilting too, so backing up was a major pain in the ass, not to mention a safety hazard.

Thanks. And here i thought that was just to adjust the mirrors, I always keep it in the neutral middle posistion.

The toggle between l/r used to adjust the mirrors.

Ahhhh, we've enlightened yet another TL owner!!! Gotta love this forum!!!

Yeah, if you move it to the R or L position, that mirror will tilt down automatically when the car is placed in Reverse. When finished and put in Drive or gear, the mirror reverts to its original position.
