do all 3rd gens have the same body?

I thought all 3rd gen TLs had the same body but after looking at some pics, it looks like the body for the 06 and 07 is different than the body for the 04 and 05...does anyone know for sure what differences in the body there are?

also, what years have a Type S option, and what years do not?

any info would be great, thnx!

taz :-)

Maybe what's causing the confusion is you've been looking at photos of regular TLs mixed in with some A-Specs and RonJons?

The '04-'06 have no body changes; the tailights, front fascias with lower foglamps and door mirror housings (with turn signals) are different on the '07s.

There were A-spec body trim & suspension option packages available for '04-'06, but the sheet metal for the '04-'07 is the same.
