DIY section

i recently came to this forum from benzworld.org...they have a DIY(do it yourself) section, for simple mods and tricks. which is good for the people looking for general info. what they do is take pictures of every step and post it with instructions...i think it would be great if this forum had it too...i have seen the LED door lights and i want to put them in myself, but i have no idea what to do and what i need...lol. how many people think we should have the DIY section?

Please don't post links to other forums. Our Moderator spends a lot of time and money on this site and it's important that we maintain our membership.

Thank you.

Do you think people are going to "bail" Acura-TL.com for a MBZ forum?

BTW, I like the idea of a DIY section. Perhaps the mods could make a way for people to submit contributions.

DIYs are hot at www.7thgencivic.com, which is where i came from (I am the kid, my dad's the TL owner. i own a 6th gen civic.). anyway, there's not much to do to the TLs.

actually, there's plenttttttty to do to the TLs xept MOST of the owners don't want anything to do with modifications.

if you think about it, probably around 1% of TL owners check up on this forum, and maybe 20% of the of the 1% who do check up will modify their car in any fashion.

not to say that "DIY section" isn't a good idea, but i do not think 3rd gen TL owners can/will keep it up.

Good point mischa. Modding a TL is a complete waste of time. Why spend $10k more on an Acura if what you really want is a souped-up Accord?
