Question Diy Help

a while back i got hit from behind by a MAC Truck but i was very lucky. all he did was crack a taillight and a scratch on the bumper. anyway he paid for the damages and i recieved the taillight yest by UPS. Does anyone has a write up swaping the new light for the old one

do i have to remove the rear bumper to replace taillight???

I've never done it, so I don't know if there is a short cut.
