Has anyone found a way to turn off the trunk light with the trunk open??... I removed the trunk light module but for some reason this still caused battery drain. Because I use the trunk alot I would like to be able to leave the trunk open in my garage without running down the battery....any ideas??

 

you can just pop out the bulb and easily slide it back in when you want to use it. why do you keep the trunk open for so long? it would take about a day before it drained the battery

 

What are you doing in the trunk?

 

My thoughts exactly....you want to leave it open in the garage?? Is it that difficult to open and close it when you need to get in?? Also, if you just lower it (rather than closing it until it locks) and leave it ajar, I think the light will shut off.
