Diminished value smarts

How did you get proof for insurance co that your vehicle's value went down as the result of an accident?

Show them a autocheck or carfax, go to a pro body shop have them give you write up of what was done, and how it affected the car, mechanically or cosmetically or both. Unless it's visible or noticeable the insurance won't care to handle your claim that it diminished in value. If the body mechanic did a fked up job, then go to him, otherwise if autocheck or carfax shows that it was in an accident, then you might have a claim, because it's common sense people want to avoid if they can cars that have accident records, trust me I know, I sold plenty of salvage title cars, and it's not easy to sell that fast, but if it's quality body work, then you should have no problem
