Somehow landed on this while Googling and researching and all..

I've been eyeing at TL Type-S for some time, now.
Was all into it and now pretty close to buying one..

Then I ran into the Spy photos of 2009 TL !!??!!
Yikes!

I really want to get one this year.
but it'll also suck as 2009 model seems pretty nice and all new look..


I know first release of new model tend to have more bugs and all so some don't recommend it..
But does that mean 2008 model is pretty much bug-free and the perfection of Third Generation TL?

I'd like to hear some thoughts from the owners~~

Would you wait one year or just get one now?

The 2008 TLS doesn't have all the bugs worked out entirely yet. It still suffers from rattles and other things. I would just buy the TLS and be done with it as new stuff will keep on comming. If you can get a good deal on an 07 or 08, i would do it. Also when the 09 TL comes out, if you really like it, you can trade in your TLS for a 2010 TL so a bunch of the bugs are worked out on the new one.

 

If I were you I would get the 07 or 08 TL-S. The 4th Gen TL is going to be a new design but I already know that im going to wait untill 2011 or 2012 Type S comes out so I can buy that. Make sure that you dont test drive one though cause you will end up rolling out the lot with a TL-S. Any thought about what color you would want to get? Get a KBP or WDP <----best two overall choices. I know team nighthawk wont agree but thats their opinion haha good luck!

As for the color, I'm leaning towards either Alabaster Silver Metaillic or Carbon Bronze Pearl --- I guess that's neither of what TLType-s12 mentioned!! he he..

Question. Are the performance tires that are offered as option any good?
Just curious.. couldn't find much info about that..

 

here are the reviews for that tire. In my opinion, its better than the normal tires, be certainly not the best
