Differences between '07 ad '08 Type S?
Type S has a sport package: red LEDs inside (dash), navi ( in every one), sport suspension, spoiler, quad exhaust tips, 3.5 litre V6, more exteroir colors to choose from (in maybe interoir as well, not sure). Overall a more awesome car. Faster and usually meticulously mantained and cleaned. Also rare, they no longer make them, all the more reason to want one.

To answer the OP's question I believe there are none. I have owned both model year Type S's and have noticed none either.

I met what are the main differences between the 07 type-s and the 08 type-s? (if any differences at all). I looked on Wikipedia and couldn't find anything.

Who gives a crap though, I'm not relying on a computer when it comes to something like tire pressure.
The A/T transmission case is different as the ’07 TL and TLS are the only models for this case, while the ’08-’11 TL, TLS, TL Tech, and ’10-’11 TSX are the same.
As stated above, the ECU is different between the '07 and '08 TLS.

LOL...OMG, I should have a template from how many times I've given my opinion on type S vs. having a base and how much I paid for it and test driving the type S etc...
Doesn't make much sense as one could say a 3 series BMW is BASICALLY the same car as a M3, speaking of the 6 cyl versions, so if you think an '04 is the same as a TL-S that's all that counts.

Turbo, should have made it in red, was kidding around...was just smelling that this thread was headed in that direction so I was trying to get it there faster.
I did actually once test drive the type S and thought it was great but wasn't willing to trade in my beloved 04.

Thanks for clearing it up. Too bad there is that 15 minute time delay or I would delete my stupid response.

LOL...it's all good, man. So what you're telling me is that it won't be getting any easier, huh!?
I already feel like I can't keep up with the generation NOW and I'm only 32.

The only difference between 08 and 07 TL's regardless of trim...
The 2008 TL features an improved new immobilizer system, and a separate Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) warning lamp. The navigation system has been updated to work in Hawaii, and the AcuraLink satellite capability has been expanded to incorporate 76 markets (up from 38 markets for the 2007 model).
The 04-06 TL auto has a medium firmness suspension.
When the TL Type-S came out in 2007, they made this version firmer, better handling.
They also softened the base 07 TL to cater to people who wanted a sport luxury ride, more like a marshmellow Lexus.
The softest ridng 3rd gen TL is the base 07-08.

the 04-06 6MT's are the stiffest, btw.
Your kidding right? I have to say though every time I drive the 04 with the 245/45/17 Yokohamas I think the setup is compliance and handling perfection compared to the 08 with 235/45/17 michelins. I have a set of 18" 8.5 Aspec but have not run them in a while.
Is the key the same between the 07 and 08?
Oh and this thread is doomed!

if you purchased the 2008 Acura TL Type-S instead of the 2007 model, you have purchased a slower car. We de-tuned the ECU and pooped in the gas tank from the factory
