Well....it has been bothering me for a long time...ever since i got my 3G TL......in the packet of stuff they give you...in the nice leather case...with all the neat flipbooks and the demo-DVD audio disc....i never got an ACURA SPACE PEN....i want one....how many of you got them?

 

I didn't get the dvd-a either....

 

I got a Saab pen when I bought my Saab, but no Acura pen. Cheapskates!

I saw the Acura pen.....looks like a Bic compared to the pen SFSC sent me back in Dec. 2001..... Dec. 2002 Igot a SAAB clock.

 

I got a pen and a key chain. The salesman gave us the old "leather" case because it came with the pen and the key chain. He also gave us the new case (closes with a magnet instead of a zipper), which had a place for a pen, but one didn't come with it. The key chain has the Roadside Assistance number on the back which could be helpful. Did you at least get the key chain?

 

No pen, no keychain. Called the next day and told me to come back for my cookies. Got a pen and key chain with my 2002 MDX though. Did get a cheap folding pen @ the launch for the RL.

 

I received a space pen in the mail 3weeks after I bought my TL. I also received a Acura umbrella at the time I picked up my car. The pen is very nice and heavy and suppose to write in any condition such as writing under water. My buddy that bought a TL 4 months ago received one too. I think these pens are worth at least $50 bucks or more.

 

No pen, no umbrella, no keychain. I did tell my salesman that I wanted a hat and travel cup and I did get those.

 

Seems like US owners got no pen while Canada owners got no demo DVD-A!

 

Got nothing but a ripped seat. They fixed it though.

I got the "A" key chain with the little spinning Acura logo in the center....no pen, though.

 

I got a free umbrella . . .

 

Got BOTH a pen and keychain when I bought my 2k. Got NEITHER when I bought the 04.

 

I got a keychain no pen.

 

Canadian owner, got the DVD-A demo disc (actually 2, 1 is french), however received no pen or other swag.

I got a pen about 3 weeks after I bought my TL. It says it writes under water but I'm wondering what kind of paper works under water.

I also didn't get the demo DVD-A when I picked up the car. But then I wrote an email to ELS to ask them why they didn't put an AUX port on the head unit and why doesn't the head unit play MP3s. They wrote back saying "blah blah blah, and we're sending you a DVD-A". A few days later, I received REM - Automatic for the People and the Acura Demo DVD-A in the mail.

 

If you didn't get a free Acura Umbrella , it would be wise to call up Acura corporate and complain.

I didn't get a free pen, but will be calling them first thing Monday morning!

see if i bought a lexus as my first car...my experiences would be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better...they give you cookies...pens....umbrellas...hats...t-shirts....

Got a pair of key chains with the Acura Logo, and my saleman gave me an Acura TL license plate frame. But no Space Pen! Got a hell of a car, tho.

 

I got the Pen, Hat, Keychain, and DVD disk.

 

Got got the pen to mailed to me about 2 weeks after I picked up the car and then in another 2 weeks they sent me another space pen.

 

Whats on the DVD disk?

All of the below - with a nice MontBlanc pen and free air changes in the tires each Fall and Spring.

 

Received Demo discs and key chain from dealer at time of purchase and the pen via the mail from Acura about two weeks later

 

Jerky, it's the Demo disc and it explains the functions of the ELS and HFL along with some musical tracks that highlight the 5.1 surround sound sys. It has artists like Donald Fagen, America, Grover Washington and has a wide genre of music.

I got a key chain, and the dvd-a. but no pen or umbrella..

 

must be a canadian thing. I got the 2 DVD's plus a pen in the mail this week. Another unexpected christmas present. The dealer also gave me a couple of unbrellas (we live in Vancouver BC). If you live in the east, I expect you get a window scraper or a touque.

 

I got a pen in the mail from Acura Canada, not the dealer. Didn't get anything from the dealer. I got the sample DVD-A discs (1 English, 1 French) with the Owner's Manual from the dealer, but that comes with the car.

 

I got piece of shit tires and a vibrating car..
seriously, I got nothing this time around. Back in 95, I got a box in the mail with a flashlight, a pen and something else after I bought my Integra.

 

bah, i only received the dvd-a disc AND a cheap bic pen from the dealership with the continental acura logo on it.

however, i'm curious to see what the pen and umbrella look like.

anyone here buy their car from continental acura and receive either the pen or umbrella, or both?

 

oh yeah, no keychain from acura either, except for the free rubber ones sitting in a jar at the dealership with their logo on it.
