It's so easy to keep clean and looks great with black windows, mud guards and mats etc.
I'm more impressed with zero problems so far which seems to be common with DM cars, unlike some of the troublesome colours you read about here.
I see only one or two in the Columbus, OH area. My TL is in for service and I have a DMM/Parchment loaner. The interior is dirty and the light color shows everything. I'm thinking that the TL is a sporty-type car and that DMM is not really a sporty-type exterior color. Sorry to say it would not be my 1st choice for a TL -- maybe for a Lexus ES330 or Camry (like my mom has...).

DMM is one of the prettiest colors Acura makes. Look at it close up in the sun, and you'll be dazzled by the metalflake. It's a gorgeous color.
For some reason, too many people seem to think a "sporty" car has to be black or dark grey or something. So what is it about the color that makes a car fast, or good-handling, or fun to drive (or for old people)? Car color is a personal thing, and I've always liked golds myself. Not to mention that DMM always looks good, even with a coat of dirt on it, and that's a helluva lot more than you can say for black, which looks like caca 5 minutes after you wash it. Yep, there's a DMM TL in my neighborhood, and I turn and look everytime it goes by.
But to each his/her own, I guess.

I think most of you know my opinion on my DMM...I love it. Yes, it's very rare, but the color looks great days after washing. I also have the parch interior and it can be a bitch to keep clean..but I have no kids, so it's not that hard. I live about 4 miles from another DMM..

Old fart.
I personally love the DMM colour on the TL. As another poster mentioned, when you see it in the sun, it is stunning. The metallic flakes are incredible. One of the reasons I didn't choose that colour is that my last TL was gold and I didn't want the same colour twice in a row. For 2005 Acura Canada is not offering the TL in DMM so up here it is a really really rare colour to see.
