Deep Green Pearl
I have pretty much decided to replace my Silver 2001 TL with a new TL. I have made a half dozen trips to the local dealer trying to determine the color combination. Silver is out since I have had it for 4 plus years. The AM is showing up all over now. I am a leaning toward the Deep Green Pearl or the White Diamond Pearl. The white is great but I can readily see the difference in color between the bumpers and the car. I am wondering if anyone here has the Deep Green Pearl and if so, does it show dirt easily? I don't have time to be washing the car every other day!
Thanks

It's not too bad, just don't do what my wife did this week.
She managed to park under a tree, it's spring here and the car has a nice yellow appearance from the tree pollen.
That said,I really like the color and it doesn't show the dirt that bad to me.

I have the Deep Green Pearl and find that it isn't too bad to clean. Certainly better than black. The metalic does a good job hiding the dirt. Also, it's an interesting color because it looks different in different light. I wouldn't call it FUGLY.

I LOVE deep green pearl but I've never seen it w/ 6spd and camel interior so I got black (and Camel was a must for me.) Plus, there was already an 04 DGP Camel in my town when I bought mine. It's not gay at all, don't listen to that shit. If it's appealing to you, get it. Easy to keep clean and shines up nice. It's discontinued now too so you'll in affect have a limited edition color!!

nice color. i was also considering it, but my wife and i both had green cars from 1996, so it was time for change.
not too bad with dirt, but not as good as anthracite

I have had the DGP for only three days now. I have the same issue with the Pollen, but that will be temporary. Green will certainly show a lot more dirt than the white, but it's a great looking car.

I think that's the good color although there are not too many ppl choosing it. If the rumor is true, this color may be discontinued soon.

My suggestion would be to get the color your really want and don't worry about how many others are already out there. I had an AM '04, now I have an '05 NBP. The NDP looks better clean, the AM better dirty. Consider the interior color too. I really love the camel interior.

DGP / Camel especially with a 6spd is one of the rarest combinations of this car...even more so w/Navi.
I like having what almost no one else has. Black, though nice, has more than its fare share of cars on the road as does silver. All I've gotten are WOW type comments ever since I got this car EXACTLY one year ago tomorrow. Any color's gonna show dirt like it or not as your driving conditions and places will have a direct effect no matter what, so get that notion out of your head and go with what you like best. The only color I would have chosen over DGP if it was available would have been the Steel Blue Metallic on the '05 MDX.
From one 'Don' to another: Dare to stand out and be different from everyone else! And in this case classy too!

I briefly considered DGP, but after actually seeing it, I think it looks too close to AM. I would have liked something closer to a british racing green than DGP. If you want something a little less common that looks great in any light, you can't go wrong with ABP (my choice). The downside is that it does require washings every two weeks or so, especially with my 6MT brake dust.
You didn't mention your choices for interior, but I must say that camel makes a great contrast with the ABP (and NBP, too).
If you want a really unusual color that doesn't show much dirt at all, you should probably consider DMM.

I have Deep Green Pearl with Parchment and love it. This color looks so ill in the sun and at night when there's a little light shining on it. WDP, you see these things everywhere!..

Deep Green Pearl w/Camel
I love the DGP w/Camel that I've had since last July and I've had plenty of complements from other people. I thought this dark color would show dirt similar to black, but remarkably it does not. No regrets here.......

I've had my DGP since last August. I think is a great color. After going though a tough Cleveland winter the car still looks great after a good cleaning and waxing. It does show dust but it isn't a big problem, so I think it is a fairly easy car to keep clean. Not ghey at all.

I wish they made DGP with ebony interior, that would be such a ridiculously hot interior/exterior combination. I do like Deep Green Pearl though, it's very different. Kind of like the Noble Green Pearl on the 2nd generation TL, you'll have a color that no one else has. I suspect that the car shines like crazy in the sun when it's waxed as well. Go for it.

Parchment is a light/medium tan. I guess you'd say between Camel and the current '07 Taupe.
