Deck Spoiler to deflect dirt?
Deck Spoiler to deflect dirt?
I've not washed my TL over two weeks due to the wet weather, but the car still looks relatively clean except for the top of the rear bumper.
Do you folks think adding a deck spoiler well keep dirt from building in that area?

God I hate that too. The whole car will be clean then you look back there and it looks like a sand box. One day I know I will come out and find some kid building a sand castle on my rear bumper.

I have noticed that also. There must be a low pressure area at the rear of the car that causes the dust to collect there. I use my California Duster every day to wipe it off.
The deck spoiler MIGHT prevent this by creating added turbulence behind the car. This is the original purpose for spoilers - to break the "vacuum" at the rear of race cars to allow them to go faster.
Hopefully someone will reply that has the little spoiler and let us know!
