Not to be a dick, but why take the time to de-badge the exterior just to add an out-of-place badge in the interior? Actually, since the badge hasn't been "removed" from the car, it's not really de-badged, is it?

He can stick them to his forehead if he wants, who cares. The point of customizing your car is to make it look the way YOU want it to. I see nothing wrong with putting the badges on the inside. Besides, you're wrong, the concept of debadging only applies to removing extraneous badges on the outside of the vehicle for a clean look, who gives a shit about the interior.

I put mine over to right farther---under the vent. My "ACURA" emblem is in my trunk, on the inside of the lid close to the window. 3M double sided tape has worked well--though I did have to double it up on the "TL" to make it stick.

It's a good idea, I've seen other cars in person that have that done.

It's just nothing I would do to my car

I recently took off the rear "Acura" and the "TL" but I left the "A" and the Type-S, funny how it makes the entire rear look different...my wife thought I changed out the rear bumper. I don't think I'll put the emblems on anywhere else. I agree that this is your ride and you can do as you wish...if you want it on the dash I would also scoot it way over to the right or maybe on the bottom section of the door.

I like how you think.... All somebody needs to do is slap on a couple of tl-s badge's, body kit, and rims and no girl will know the difference ( who we kidding, this is for the women), let alone care.... as long as you got it... TL is the SHYT no matter what it is.....

Not feelin' it. It's too big, sticks out too far, and doesn't match the the rest of the silver/aluminum trim in the car.

Other than that, your's is the only opinion that really counts - so if you like it, keep it!

appreciate everyone's opinions and nondickness. you cant really get a feel for it from a picture as you can in person. ive asked people riding in it for the first time and they all thought it was stock and everyone said to keep it. for any of you debadgers, you can try and hold it up there and see what it looks like in person. you either like it or you dont.
i for one, do.

+ its shiny as shit. matches great with the "A" on the steering wheel. highly highly disagree with "and doesn't match the the rest of the silver/aluminum trim in the car." but hey, thats your opinion.

Good point.

I was referring more to the rest of the aluminum trim in the interior that has that "textured" look to it.

But like I said: if you like it and it makes you happy, that's all that matters.

Its on the plastic part of the engine cover just below the intake manifold.

I thought the same thing. Haa ha!
The TEIN decal was the attraction point of the picture to me, my eyes overlooked the engine cover.

As for the TL emblem on the glove, I don't think I like it but it could be something 10X better seen in person.

I didnt mean to imply that the interior doesnt matter. I'm saying that with regards to 'de-badging', nothing in the interior is relevant.
