Hey guys what is the best way to de-badge the TL, heat gun? then floss? Also just making sure there are no holes after you remove it? And also what do you guys clean with after you debadge it.

Thanks

there is a hole under the "A"

FWIW, a blow dryer and floss works well too

I just did it yesterday using goo gone and a credit card. Looking back the heat gun might have been helpful as well as the floss. Then afterwards I used the 3M Rubbing Compound cause the outline of Acura and TL was still kind of visible.

The secret is...carefully..

You can take it off with your hand..just do it slowly. Nothing will stick if u do it carefully.

Thats what I did

I did mine without the heat gun a couple of days ago. use fishing line. my floss kept breaking on me and I had to keep using new pieces of floss. not a big deal just annoying. I guess heating it up might have softened the adhesive to decrease floss breakage. but with fishing line you wouldn't even have to heat it up. then just use the goo gone and it will look great!

brake cleaner is the best and easy way to go.
it's only take me 10 min to de-badge.
#1 remove emblems.
#2 use small towel and spray brake cleaner on the towel to remove the glue.
#3 give it a good wax.
(NO EFFECT ON THE PAINT)

^^ If using brake cleaner, does it make a difference between the chlorinated and the non-chlorinated?

Brake cleaner on your clearcoat? I wouldn't use that unless I was going to rub some polishing compound afterward.
