Dealer recommendation in L.A.

I need to take my car in for the b-pillar rattle/creaking noise, I am close to Santa Monica, Keyes and Power (ex South Bay/Peyton Cramer). Does anyone have opinions on which dealer is best suited to address this problem?

TIA,
Rick

I have had good luck with Keyes in the past...also used Acura 101 West (near Calabasas)...happier with Keyes although 101 West has a nice facility...

Santa Monica is horrible. Worst customer service from an Acura dealership I've ever had.

Power was OK. They did the warranty work for the tranny in my '01 TL. Everything was good except I had to call them every couple of days to get the status.

I haven't been to Keyes yet.

BTW, the B pillar rattle in my car is casued by the plastic cover on the seatbelt anchor. I'm having deja vu because I already described this on another thread, but if you press your hand against the plastic cover while driving, you will probably find the rattle goes away. Josh is going to work on getting me some sort of insulation or foam when I go in for my first oil change.

Fair Dealer Service

You won't go wrong with South Bay. Ask for Alfred (service advisor) or Jon (service mgr. (my R.E.client). They both know their stuff. Both know the cars like the back of their hands. I have a CL (97) and have taken it their for years. When they come back to me with the suggested list of maintenance repairs they almost always filter it down to what is actually needed and what is fluff. I have not had to take my TL in yet but will be sure to go there. Jon was the one that investigated the ability to order the wood pieces for me. Of all the dealers who quoted me for the purchase, only Jon went to the trouble of investigating if that was possible. Others said "it can't be done" etc.:wow:

Yes I would be the one. I am also the one and only who took out the Black carbon (crap) and replaced it with the "plood". I also added the additional "plood" accent pieces throughout. Pics are on my gallery. Did you end up getting your TL from them? PM me if you didn't get it yet and want the best price! I can't post it here as they got heat from it.

You spend over $1,000 to replace crap with more crap. Somebody look at this guys pictures and tell me what on earth is going on. Can you say "wood paneling from the 1970's"?

You are entitled to your opinion. You would really have to see it in person to judge it properly. Besides I love it and this is who I bought it all for. I have had a number of e-mails and pms from folks admiring the work. It doesn't look like paneling from the 70s but really adds a nice touch of luxury to an otherwise sporty rocket ship. I love the mix and balance I have created. This is why they call them all options. We get to pick and choose what we like.
