I am scheduled to take delivery on an 04 TL, anthracite/ebony/5at/navi at the end of July.
Has anyone asked the dealer to just wash the car and not wax it? I am trying to avoid
swirl marks in the paint by their prep people and their buffers. Sorry if this is a duplicate
post, my last one did not seem to take.

 

Yes I've even read on this forum that people ask dealer to leave the wrapped plastic sheets on. So they can dress their own car later. It's your car and you've paid for it, make sure you remind dealer at least 5 times. However, I'll wont be surprised if they dress it eve after that.

 

The only two big scraches, I have on mine is from the two time they tried to detail it!
