I just opened a letter from my dealer telling me for a "limited time" they are offering a discount on the 7 year/ 100,000 warranty. They did not include the cost, I'll call during the week to find out the details. Anyone else get a similiar letter? Any takers on the discounted price of the extended warranty?

I paid $1020 for a 5yr/100k warranty. My dealer quoted me something like $1300 for it, but agreed to match the $1020 figure which I found at curryacura.com.

When I purchased my TL, I got the 7yr/ 100,000 mile warranty for $1,100.00.

WOW....895. That's the lowest I've seen yet. I'd get that in a heartbeat.

I got mine for $1020 too after my dealer quoted a "sale" of $1500 on their normal $1700 price back in December. I got them to match the curry acura price after I laughed in their face

Just make sure the warranty is what you expect it is and not some watered down one for that price.

Damn guys. I need to take you guys with me when I go in for negotiation. I brought my dad with me to the dealer hoping to get a better deal but didnt work. I brought him there so he can tell me to stop and leave when they are not willing to break. I almost agreed on a price.. good thing he was there to give me a reality check.

Without additional details it's not clear whether it's a good deal or not. It could very easily have been an after-market warranty, not Honda's.

several things effect the cost of the AcuraCare warranty

1. Years
2. Miles
3. Deductable

that being said I negotiated a AcuraCare(i.e. factory) warranty for
5 yrs./100K 0 Deduct. for $870.

thats what I would shoot for.

I didn't get it though, my brother has then 2000 TL, already has 100K on his, no problems, I'm confident in Acura/Honda quality
