I know you want to do this at a dealer for warranty purposes but you can really, really save yourself the money and DIY. The only thing that could possibly be covered or need warranty would be gaps....... If done yourself correctly (much better than a dealer could do) you should be fine. I was squeemish about doing it myself but there are several great threads with tips for a great install.

The four holes in the rear? I read somewhere here that it wasn't totally nescessary - the poster just used more 3m tape instead of drilling. Had I read that sooner I would have done the same.

The holes are already marked all you have to do is drill, it seems sort of scary but its not that bad. Just make sure that before you drill that you drill the right set of marked holes (the lower ones), the higher ones are for the backup sensors. A guy at my work was installing the aspec rear on his new type s and pre-punched the wrong holes(upper holes).

Actually, I think it's the upper ones......there is a pic around here somewhere....LOL
But anyway - check and make sure you drill the right holes.......if you decide to drill them at all.

Thanks for the tip guys, but I still don't trust myself yet. For some reason when I install something, I always tend to mess something up or do something totally wrong. You can say I'm not much of a handy man.

Screw that for that much, ill Drill the holes, use super glue, tape gum, and a little bit of rubber cement and elbow grease.
it would be a cold day in hell before I pay more money to have something installed then I would for the product itself!

Check out this thread - the install is pretty easy - just don't rush it - take your time on each piece and you'll be fine.

must be talking about the body kit only...as far as the hole drilling is concerned, the holes are pre-drilled for later install. Oh, dont break the tail-lights, whole rear bumper has to come off.......

I just put the A-SPEC kit on my car this weekend. I did it myself with a few friends. Its not that hard its just time consuming but its pretty easy. I suggest you do it on ur own instead of paying for it. If you have any questions I can answer them.

Yeah we can all help you through it - it's easy and you get a real sense of satisfaction (I did it myself) when you are done.....

The reason why I'm scared of doing it myself, like I mentioned, I am not very good with my hands. I tried to install stuff on my Honda, which I owned before this. I attempted to mod stuff on my own, which I totally ruined, not only the bumper but also the lip I was trying to install. It eventually broke off after a few months. After I got my TL, I promised myself that I would never attempt to install anything on my car by myself ever again. So that is my horror story.

Well if your that uncomfortable then maybe you can have a friend who has some experience help you out. You just need to find someone who has a little experience and it should be easy to install.
