Lightbulb Dealer Confirms Acura Aware of Tires!!

I am at the Rick Case Acura Dealer now in South Florida getting my first tune up. I mentioned the tire problem to them. The service manager said to hold on b/c Acura is aware of the problem and is developing a solution. He said he has at least 7 customers tht he knows of with the problem recorded; one being the general manager who has the problem as well. Stay tuned for news from Acura....the only question is how long before the fix. My tires are driving me crazy. What worries me is he only mentioned the flat spotting but my tires vibrate all the time...even after an entire day of driving! We shall wait and see. I urge anyone who is having this problem to at least go to your dealer and log it on record before Acura comes out with a fix so you will be sure to be addressed when it comes out.

Very true BP, as I've heard the same from Rick Case for several weeks now. They imply a tire swap, but will not commit to it since Acura supposedly has something in the pipeline, but will not release it yet.

I talked to my dealer in Central NY and he essentially mentioned the same thing. I hope we have a resolution soon... can't stand the wait !

Agreed. I heard it from the owner of my dealership that there is something in the works.

My tires were replaced with much better Michelins, but sorry to say i still have maddening vibration above 80mph.

aa, I don't remember- did they do the Hunter Roadforce balance on them?

I've yet to notice any vibrations from my PSA/S's, but I have little regular opportunity to get to 80mph.
