well i got into my first accident just yesterday...minor accident..but still going crazy over it. nothing happen to the GMC Yukon..everyone was okay..it was my fault as well =(.. i got a few scratches deep and the front bumper is sorta off. i'll show u guys some pics..what do u guys think i should do?? replace the bumper or just repaint it?..SORRY FOR THE LOW QUALITY..pic was taken with camera phone...CAn anyone see what i hit??

the front bumper sorta overlaps with the headlight by just a bit..you probalby can't see if from that pic

there is about a 1/4 inch gap between the headlight and the bumper..




it's the HARLEY DAVIDSON MOTORCYCLE logo...

The good part is if you look just right and squint I can see a portrait of Mother Theresa, which means you can throw the skin on Ebay!!

 

Man, where was the HD logo? On the trailer hitch? It has to be for the emblem to actually show up on your bumper! Sorry to hear about your accident, though. That type of repair costs up to several hundred $$$ to repair. At your age, if you've got the money, just get it taken care of at the body shop w/o insurance so your rate doesn't go up.

 

Ouch... that sucks... good luck getting it fixed. I agree, if you have the money go ahead and get it fixed without going through insurance so your rates dont go up. You might could even buy a bumper cover from like hondacuraworld or something and do it yourself...

 

yep..that's what i am planning to do..as soon as i can save up enough money..yeah it was a HD Emblem that covers the hitch of the YUkon that HD Emblem saved me couple hundred..instead of hittin the SUV...i hit the Emblem on the hitch instead
