DDM 3000k not yellow?
I apologize ahead of time if this topic has been discussed previously but I recently installed the DDM 3000k for my lower fogs(manufacture date: 1/11) this past weekend and im not really happy with them. They look like 5000k from a straight on view but is yellow when its hitting the ground. Has anyone recently installed a pair of ddm 3000k who could post a pic of how yours look? did i get a defected set? I will get pics up tonight once the sun is down to show you what im talking about.

They may not appear that yellow when looking into the fog housings because of light refraction. If you're just going for looks, you could always apply some yellow vinyl film to your fogs. I did mine a few weeks ago and have a bunch extra. I can send you some if you want.
I don't have the DDM 3000K in my TL, but I had some on my previous car in some aftermarket projector fog housings. They did look pure yellow in those fog light housings, however the light is much more focused in a projector housing than in a halogen reflector housing.

Do you have the Accord fogs retrofitted? If so, that's the reason why. I have the same thing and at first, I thought they sent me the wrong kit. The thing is the Accord fogs are aimed higher and to the periphery than 07+ fogs. Therefore, they look white-ish, but if you look at them from an angle to the side, you'll see that they are yellow. I don't think there is a way to aim them towards the center, but you can aim them lower.
At night, they do the job and do look very yellow from an angle, but from the front they look like halogens with higher intensity and a slight yellow tint.

Do not use film because it will burn it, telling you from experirnce with my old accord.
if they are 55w hid kit, that would be your problem, it needs to be 35w kit and if your still not happy there is nothing better (more yellow) than NOKYA yellow bulbs in my opinion

to answer your other question, its the 35watt kit. I had nokya yellow previously and i must say they are really nice and really yellow. I was expecting the HID's to at least have some yellow from a straight glance :/

I have had both a 55w and 35w kit in my car. Both looked white when viewed straight on, however, on the ground you can clearly see the yellow light.
The 55w will wash out some of the yellow color due to the higher intensity wattage. 35w definitely has a richer yellow, but the throw of the 55w is significantly better.

I'm yet to buy the yellow Fog Light bulbs i wat to replace stock but after looking at this thread I'm gonna stick with 2500k-3000k Halogen bulbs. I'm just gonna go from the stock 35watt H8 bulbs to 55watt halogen bulbs on Ebay I found.

Looks like my car LMAO, Yeah mines look just like this. Only the floor and sides light up yellow and str8 on they look like yellowish halogen OEM lights. Im going to add the Vinyl to mines since I want them yellow all the time. You could get retrofitted projectors which will make them look more yellow. You can test them buy just placing ur 3000K bulb carefully (since of course they don't fit right) in ur Headlight Projector to see how they would look before doing this DIY. I may go Projector Retrofit later on when i get the Aspec Kit. Im just tired of taking the dame Bumper all every-time i change something in reference to lights on my car

I ran 55w HID kit in my fogs, with no relay harness, having no issues for over a year. Only reason I moved to 35w HID kit was my connections got corroded from the shit weather here in Ohio.

I got tired of that and even customizing a shield around the bulb made no difference. I searched for fog light projectors on ebay and ended up buying a pair to retrofit. I couldnt have been more satisfied, the output is wherever you want it to be and away from people's faces
