the dash without navi IMO looks really good. In fact the first time i saw the interior of the dash of the TL w/o the navi made me think it had a navi. But ofcourse the dash w/ navi is very beautiful

 

hmmmmm...the blue leds on the speedometer look purple in the pic...they look cool though

 

Yes, I agree . . . it looks very good. Some folks on the forum have stated that
they bought the Navi just because the dash looks so 'hideous' without it.

 

As one who has the Navi, I don't understand this whole "dash looks hideous without it" concept. Yes, I happen to think it looks a little better w/Navi, but not by much. I got the Navi because I like toys, especially expensive ones, especially impractical ones. (I know, I know, for some people the Navi IS practical. For me it's just fun.) But the looks of the car with or without it had nothing to do with my decision. IMO it looks fine either way.

i think that black strip in the middle is something Acura could have done without.. they should have had a huge screen like there, kind of like what the MID looks like, but bigger

I was just the opposite -- I think the dash looks better without a big giant glowing square (or a big giant black square if it's turned off).

 

For what it's worth - I don't have the Navi - but my center console display looks different than the picture - the background is black (not blue) and the characters are a soft solid white.

Yes the Navi dash looks great - but Acura did a nice job with the non-navi dash as well - IMO

 

If you want to improve the look of your dash purchase a plood kit. It's a great look.

 

To me, that god-awful stick down near the bottom is hideous.

 

Sorry but I am one of those who thinks the aesthetics of the dash without navi is hideous. It did play a minor role in my obtaining a car with navi. More important was the fact that I actually planned to use the navi, however.

 

... A dash without Navi is like Aunt Jimima pancakes without her syrup!

 

Quit talking about your "stick" down by your "bottom".... Besides, I'm sure your significant other doesn't think its that "hidious"....
