Dash mat

Anyone get their faded dash mat replaced? Is it one large part or is it done in sections?

Before you try to get the dash replaced, try Aerospace 303 on the dash. It will most likely bring back the "look" you want without the hassle of getting the dash replaced. My dash looked faded after 6months, the car was garaged so I knew it wasn't sun damage because my car NEVER sits outside in the sun for more than a few hours. I used 303 and now the dash looks better than new. Try it!!

thats IF they do it at all. Unless you bitch and complain relentlessly, I don't think they'll do it free..

Oh wait, I forgot who I was talking to.

If you have to pay for it, just do that one piece.

U'r damn right they'll do it for free. Who would pay to have an inferior part replaced that is defective? Oh yea, forgot who I was talking to. For somebody who claims to have great negotiating skills you let a lot fall through the cracks.

I must say the fading dash and dash airbag outline marks are very disappointing to say the least. I have checked almost every Tl I have seen parked, and they look like mine. I know that my car isnt the only one. I would consider this a major flaw. I cant imagine what our dash boards will look like in 4 years! Yikes. 303 works ok, but is hard to get even and wont take away your dashboard lines!

Even with 303 the dash is still shades lighter than the door panels... For some reason it just looks like its turning gray I'm like others here, mine doesn't sit out in the sun much thus it shouldn't be a sun fade issue.

Although, 303 is the best product I have used to date for the TL dash... Buy it at my local boat Marina.
