Might be late to this but I found that Amazon vendors are now making cheaper dash options. One got really bad reviews and many complained about the fitment and needing to trim it. This one had good reviews. Doesn’t look as nice as the dashskin or coverlay, but for $65, I’m going to give it a shot in the next couple months. If anyone here has tried it, let me know.

I dont even mind doing it! Especially for this kind of item. Easy to reverse and just buy a good one. Amazon is pretty good about returns anyway.

 

If that's the best image of the product I'd pass. Something tells me this will look horrible. Good luck and post pics.

 

On the Amazon site, someone did post a pic. It looks like the coverlay to me. Maybe slightly different. Price went up $20 since yesterday though so I wonder if people are catching on.

 

I recently bought this for my TL. They only had red in stock when I ordered 2 weeks ago so I had to paint mine black. The fitment is really good especially for the price. I did trim 2 pieces to make it fit better but it was not a big deal. I wont be using the adhesive I will instead use velcro in some areas as I want to be able to take it on and off if needed. But compared to the price of others this is definitely a great deal.

 

Thanks for sharing! I’ll be getting one in June for my bday. As a gift to myself haha. But honestly, for $85 I’m down. If this was a show car or something then I’d probably just replace the dash but my TL is a daily. So really I just don’t want to look at a cracked dash

 

Same lol. I looked into what it takes to remove the dash and I said no thank you. Plus trust me once its in there you wont even notice. No one notices unless I tell them. People don't really go around looking at dashboards in cars haha.

 

I guess that would be odd if someone was telling me how awesome my dashboard looks
