It can be found cheaper but this is one of the better sun shades.

clean your dash with the acura vinyl cleaner (dealer), then follow up with aerospace 303 protectant (do a retailer search on http://www.303products.com). that combo has been discussed on here and i do the same. i also use my covercraft windshield shade all the time (the stiff shade not the flexible shade). it's expensive at $50 but worth it compared to a cracked dash!

I use just plain ole water to clean the dash. Follow up with Aerospace 303 protectant. Don't spray it directly onto the dash. Spray it on a rag first and then apply. It's a great product. A little pricey, but worth it. Warning, do not get the 303 on any of the clear displays. It may mar or cloud them. You can find the 303 at most boating stores.

A garage kept vehicle won't ever have dash problems. So that's my first recommendation. If that's not gonna happen, use a covercraft uvs100 sunshade. It covers pretty much 100% of the windshield. It's what I use when I'm at work. As far as putting protectant on interior parts. I don't use anything as I don't like how products look on there. I just use a rag to dust it and that's about it. I like the new look with no product.

From what I've seen on here, it doesn't matter if its garaged or what you put on the dash. If you live down south, it WILL crack eventually. But I suppose it doesn't hurt to try.

Then 303 is for you...

That's why we all love it. Gives the protection but doesn't give the greasy Armour All look. Just a nice, straight off the showroom floor, matte finish.

maybe the tsx has a tougher dash-I live on the coast of NC so I spend lots of time on the beach. While I am on the beach my car is parked in the direct sun. I leave the windows open a crack. I wipe off the dashboard with a damp cloth to get rid of the dust. Dash is still in excellent shape.

I'm using 303 currently. My question is how folks on here, with 07-08 tl, are experiencing this issue? So far, from what I read, it's affecting older years. I'm sure it's possible but just trying to see whether or not the dash has improved. Thx in advance.

Check out the cracked dash thread, there's a few folks over there with 07/08s with cracked dashes. It effects the older years because they are well... older. 07/08s haven't been aroumd long enough to experience the issue like the 04/06 has.

I use 303 as well and I just get it online, buying in bulk helps cut down the cost in the long run.
