Is it me or is Acurazine beginning to suck azz. Everytime I log on to see what is new in Acura world I see the same posts over and over and over. "My car rattles, boo hoo". "My leather has wrinkles, boo hoo". I know this site is also here to help with problems but SH*T, acura does not make a perfect car. NOBODY DOES!! I have gone from chevy, olds, caddy, acura, infiniti and back to acura. They all have flaws. People buy a near lux acura and expect MB or Lexus luxury. Next time don't be cheap and spend $$ on an actual high luxury vehicle. (Guarantee you will still find something to whine about) If you have nothing fresh and pleasant to say then don't post. Especially those that come on here to post why they did not buy an acura. ???? Acura makes great sporty cars. Not the best cars on the planet but for the prices are right. So please stop posting the same issues over and over. Try a seach before posting. I know I am not the first to complain about complainers but it is getting ridiculous.

People will never stop complaining. Yeah I am a hater come to think of it. I hate people that tell me my car is a piece of sh*t because there are wrinkles on their leather seats. I actually read a post where a guy was complaining about brake dust and said he would never buy another acura because of it. ????? WTF!!! I take it you have an acura and you might be ok with people insulting your choice in car. I was too until insult #100,001. So yeah I hate babies.

 

Yeah I have an Acura, I love it, and I really dont five a fuck what anyone says about it, they dont have to drive it. I come here to look at peoples cars, check out what mods people have done etc. so if I run unto someone who is whinning I just skip over it, its actually pretty easy. People will always complain, thats just human nature, dont let it get to you.

 

You sound like a cool guy and this will be my last post today. I have been skipping over whiners too. I just thinks it has gotten out of hand. I miss the days when Acura owners came here to praise the TL for the great car it is. Peace.

 

eh, this thread will probably get locked... but i agree with you guys. but the way i see it, the "babies" will leave the forum eventually... for example, i heard that the 2G forum was the same way the 3G forum is now, but the "babies" have left, and now they consist of Acura 3.2 TL enthusiasts (well, for the most part), who actually know the car well (again, for the most part).

My car is great, luckily I have no complaints. My seats are a little wrinkled but nothing to complain about. Some people's(especially with ebony interior) seats look like hell, and they have a right to complain. You have to remember potential buyers come here to get details from owners before they buy. I'm willing to bet even Acura lurks this site to see what people are saying. Let's face it, there are slight problems with the car that should be pointed out and addressed. If nobody complained about the seats there may not have been a change for the 05. If people don't complain about the 05's then the 06 will see the same issues.

 

Very true. But there's an extent to which they should complain. You're on a forum where there are quite a few members, and you're ultimately "yelling" shit out that's already been addressed. There are some members who complain in multiple threads. These are not constructive criticism, and they're not asking for possible solutions. They're merely bashing the car, and at times Acura brand as a whole, which serves no purpose at all. While I pay close attention to problems and such, and do my best to help fellow members/TL owners, I simply dismiss these threads/people... Like I said above, they'll go away in time.

Owning a TL does not give them a right to annoy other owners with their incessant, pointless complaints.

I could not agree with you more. I don't post much but when I do it is not about flaws in my TL. You can find a flaw in anything if you try. You no whats really funny is I can't stand pussies who talk crap about acura and have not bought one yet. GROW SOME BALLS AND BUY SOMETHING before you post BS. Two cars ago I had a 2003 corvette. Fast as balls but scared to drive over 90 without the panels falling off. As far as my 2005 tl I don't think anything can touch the features for under 50k. Yes it has a rattle or two.....wait maybe four, but I listen to the music or am on my phone 99% of the time. People have to much time on there hands.

 

I posted a similar thread when a person mentioned some "good news from acura" and all of the haters came out of wood work and spoiled this guys day. If you hate the TL so much, sell it and move on with life. The people that love the TL want to hear the good news and how much they love their car, not the haters and whiny mofo's coming in to ruin our day.

I had a nice thread like this as well. All it pulls in is clowns like MXTT that talk shit about the thread itself. Let them whine, they dont like their high car payments.

 

That's why the aftermarket companies have to start making aftermarket performance parts for our TLs. I think these complaints sprout from a necessity to say SOMETHING. Otherwise, we pretty much have nothing.

In all reality its threads like this that serve no other purpose than to incite flame wars that cause Acurazine to look like a bunch of unprofessional kids. Not quite "babies, though most of you are young, yet you're quite knowledgeable in the TL/3G arena. I'll be the first to admit that there isn't anything (OK, much) that I haven't done when it comes to cars. Some of you half, if not a third of my age "have" taught me a few things and that I am thankful for, and it keeps me checking back on Acurazine. Every once in a while it enhances my Acura experience.

The site would be best with a "complaint corner" to keep all of the legitimate and "not so" in one place. (If folks would truly use "the corner")

I don't condone the nit picking complaints and have yet to really have an issue with my TL besides the tire vibration and rattles. I have had other "small stuff" that I also fixed myself but nothing out of the automotive "norm". BUT,, I do and will call a spade a spade if legitimate.

Now, if you really analyze many of the complaint threads (not to mention others), you will see that not only is the originator possibly being a "baby", but the rhetoric that follows turns into nothing more than impressive child's play. This isn't meant to be a flame yet complete fact....

If someone comes off as a "baby", why retaliate with equal or lessor intelligence?? Take a deep breath and defuse the so called "babies" comments by "actually" helping the individual or pointing them in the right direction (explaining the issue etc.). Most of the "reply" comments just prolong the pain that "this" thread is complaining about..

We are all guilty of "lousy" responses/posts due to that "WTF" attitude and a rush to lynch someone/prove them wrong......

Will "that" ever change??

 

If they cant afford to pay their payments,they should look elsewhere, I hear KIA makes a few cars that are more affordable, maybe they should look into that.

 

Actually, I do not like my car payments althoug it is only about $350-but quite a bit for a clown's salary!
