Has anyone cut their 07 base bumper for quads? if so how did you go about it?

Looking to buy this quad catback since it's so cheap

 

MOST people add the type-s aspec kit, which ALLOWS quad tips.
to add the aspec lip, you need to cut, but the cuts are hidden by the lip

if you cut without adding the lip, its going to look really really bad....
unless you can find a way to cover the cuts with like some trim?

 

^I've always wondered if the type-s exhaust trim would fit if the cut was obviously perfect!?

I used a dremel to widen the exhaust openings and than installed a Type-S rear ASPEC lip over the bumper to hide the cut up rear bumper.

 

Very nice!! this is on my want/todo list

- just gotta sources the a-spec lip kit, exhaust system (j pipe-- through, color match) i have polished metal Metallic so no type S oem color
- a proper case of beer
- clean my damn garage to have room for this
- a nice day.
- oh and money.. yeah i heard that's an important factor..
