cut and program switchblade key in NYC

I know this has sort of been addressed, but I haven't found anything on point in my search.

For those who have the key, has anyone gotten it programmed and cut in Queens, LI or close by, other than at Curry? I heard Curry Acura is no longer do this.

I'd prefer someplace in queens or LI, but will travel.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the info. I did a search and seems a bit far, but i guess if all else fails, I can go there.

For those of you who are interested, I called Jose and he quoted me $60 bucks for the cut and program. I'm going to see if anyone wants to go together and we can have him lower the price.

If so, let me know.

I'm interested if he'll do it for my wife's 2007 Honda CR-V key.
Lemme know!

Yes Sir!!!

I trained Jose how to do this...lol... since I was the Guy who found him and the first person to get it done there...

He was kinda skeptical on whether it could be done or not... so after him searching his manuals for like 10 minutes... and verifying the key frequencies... it was a go...

Great guy to deal with...

In Queens... there is a Locksmith on 20th Ave between 129th & 130th Street (College Point)... he said he could do it also... you might want to try him out...

Do you know the name of the place in college point and if the guy has done it before? Thanks! 167th St. is a bit of a hike, but rather go to someone who has done it before and won't mess up the key.

I don't know the exact name of the locksmith in College Point... it's the only business on 20th Ave b/w 129th & 130th... you can't miss it... No, the have never done it before... but they are a top quality locksmith based on the high-tech equipment being used there...

Good Luck!!!

I just got back from Atlas Locksmith and worked with Jose.
I didn't really mind about the $60 and so I decided to get my key cut and programmed there and it went very well, except it's in harlem and the neighborhood is actually really dangerous lol. This woman told me to keep an eye on my car.
The whole process took 10-15 min, very quick.
It's right next to Columbia University Irving Cancer Research Center and CU Medical School.
