awwww...shiettt...

Thanks for the shout, bud...great execution.
Mine are currently under construction, not sure why but my right clear lens has these huge spiderweb cracks that come and go depending on weather? I plan to fix it.

Don't worry, I made them myself, Bruce's are immaculate.

Recently did a similar treatment on a set of base reds to see how they looked, another option for the oem look, on a budget...not as pronounced but looks cool, I think.

Sharing for Bruce, I know you've done similar, but in case someone likes it.

OEM left, modded right. CF on reflector, black gloss bezel and frosted diffuser gone

I like it too. But a customer would rather pay a little more and get something completely custom. I have done a few blacked out base red sets before but not many.

just installed these for a customer. He had DEPO headlights and when removed, they literally were dripping water out and the halos were faulty.

We found him a set of OEM headlights/installed supplied halos and my custom wiring harness for the halos to have a switch for them. Blacked out V2 with carbon fiber sides and ZKW-R lens:

The way I do dual halos on 04-06 it goes around the fog nipple. I wouldn't think they will/should be a problem as they go in headlights right around the HID unit which produces a lot of heat. I am pretty sure you wouldn't run your stock fogs all the time anyway so it shouldn't be a problem. Also, why not just use those are spares and install the accord fogs I sell?

i never understood why ACURA put the fogs in the same projection beam as our already powerful projectors..

To install these dual halos on 04-06 its pretty complicated/time consuming and I have to make custom brackets to hold them/run the wires..To this date, I can count maybe 7-8 sets i've done with the dual halos on the 04-06 TLs.

Thanks Chad,
Cheap to be had since base reds are everywhere...and just what you dig, slightly modded OEM look.

Meko, yes sir, LED all the way, keep the heat down.

^Already PMed Bruce.

I'd do it myself but I'd have to track down a set of base tails. I'm hoping he has a spare set to sell/trade-in.

Thanks everyone...
ironically, the cracked/chipped right side type s modded one leaked today, never happened in the last six months so I'll finally get around to fixing that. For now, I'm frankensteining it and rocking 2 different tails...

once paid, depending upon the day of the week paid, its 2-3 days max and they will be sent out. Also depends if you order color matched paint which I would have to wait for, halos, any special item/design. The normal blacking out though takes 2-3 days give or take once paid.

MEKO, why'd you quote without saying anything?
Bruce, will do, brother. Thanks. Well, I wasn't sweating it much, because that's the same tail with:

1) corner chipped, found and glued on (thanks fedex!)
2) lens gets these long cracks that come and go
3) water inside, but will call you to see how to combat that, I've never had an issue with that before.

Yesterday, opened my first set of depos and what a PITA! Cheap plastic slags worse...and basically seals the bezel in until you go back around and cut it out.

Do you like me sharing ideas/pictures here, Bruce? I just do it to show other options in case someone wants to pay you to do them.

Sounds good and can't wait to execute. I have done a few crazy custom jobs, but only for myself or people who agree to give me as much time as it takes to finish it.

Yours was one of those custom jobs (tail lights especially since they're very rare to find (CDM)). The other ones are crazy color schemes/dual halos on 04-06/ dual projectors (but those are mine and will be done soon)

Here's one I made...I never liked how dark the signal areas were on the depo smoked tails...so I chromed out inside there, then did the "rockstar" treatment on them. I made red lenses out of the clears out of my original base reds, bezel was already matte black, and removed frosted diffuser.

They're basically a darker version of the original ones I made.

Bruce has a top secret goop he uses...he only shares that it's made with beet juice, honey , horse hooves and galvanized steel but will NOT divulge how much of each to ensure it remains a family secret.

Lol yup, it's kept right next to the coke cola recipe.

I actually do a 4 step seal process to ensure no gaps/holes which can cause leaks. One of the sealants steps I created myself and it can't be bought anywhere. Basically need glue and make sure it's sealed, I've seen things used from hit glue gun to superglue.
