The Di-noc stuff softens once you apply heat, in order to work it around corners etc but if you apply too much heat, being that its a vinyl with CF texture on, it starts loosing that CF look/texture. It may look good for a while but eventually over time it wont hold its look, especially when its getting the constant heat from the DRL.

Did the following project for a local customer over the weekend. The headlights are from an 07-08 base TL, customer had a set of vinyls installed on the lights that were removed, the adhesive for the vinyl some times reacts with the front lenses to cause spider webbing affect in the lens, small cracks that are skin deep and can not be fixed with buffing or sanding. In this case the damage was minimal as the vinyls were installed not too long ago. Headlights were resurfaced and clear coated as well.

Is it possible to remove the projectors from an 05 TL and insert them into non-projector type TLS headlight? The TLS headlights are aftermarket headlights.. I assume the OEM kind comes with projectors in them?

I'm new to the site and can not pm you...
I took apart my headlights apart (lense off housing on both left and right headlight) after seeing what you did I'd like to send them to you to finish the job. That's the exact look I was going for. My headlamps!
Had some Base TL lamps customized by JnC for a new look im going for.
I'm extremely happy with the outcome, great guy to deal with and the plus is that he's local.
