Headlights that come in for work have the highest of priority as I want to have the car put back on the road ASAP.

It takes me 2 days from the time I get the headlights to the time that they leave back, so down time is total transit time plus 2 days.
The CF can be purchased from vendors etc and also websites such as ebay. There is imitation CF and real CF, I use real CF

Ok so is there a real big difference between the ZKW-R lens vs the ones on the TLs? i saw the pic in the first page and honestly it all looks the same.

also i was checking out my headlights and they seem to be already blacked out kind of..... i have the type s.

do the CCFLs run as DRLs and there is no bulb for the DRL or is it supposed to be running both CCFL + DRL bulb?

I am sure you know what your OEM output looks like at night, here is a HD video of what the ZKW-R output will look like (this output is from real ZKWs, ZKW-R's output will be close).

for the DRL's and CCFLs, you can have them wired, either yourself of an auto electrician, so that they come on individually and independent of any other lights i.e. parking, cclf, lo/hi beam.

The main bezel in the type S headlights is black indeed but the turn signal, gray plastic bezel (the one that holds everything in place), turn signal reflector and the type S diffusers are not black.

Here is how blacked out V2 will look like on your type S.



and here is how your headlights will look like if they are blacked out V2, with type S diffusers painted black (just the amber pieces painted) plus the chrome strip across the turn signal painted as well.

Hello JNC.. I would like to be put on the list please..
I have an 04 TL.. My headlights could use a polishing as well... Do you do that as well?
I want the Blacked out Version 2 (V2). I am still undecided if I want the carbon fiber inlay yet. I cannot ship my headlights until November. My mom is leaving the country for a few months so I can use her car while these are getting done.. I am too lazy/scared to open my headlights myself now.. lol

Btw, how much would you charge to open up a set of 07/08 taillights and just remove the frost cover over the LEDs.. Do you have any pics of taillights like these? I know someone on the forum did it, but he never had any real good pics of comparisons of stock vs without frost cover.

I tried to read this thread all the way through, but my beard started to turn gray so please nobody flame me for asking a question that was already answered.

I've been wanting to get my lights done with you, but I've had a scrape on one of my lights and I didn't think you could do anything with it. But now I read that you can fix some problems. I bet a deep polish could fix it. Here are some pics...Can you help me out? If you can, then I'll let you know what I want and will put my name on the list.



I wanted to do the exchange program. So to clarify, for $25 extra you'll send me a pair of headlights and I send you mine. Then when you're done I get my original headlights back and send you back yours? That's what I want to do.

And can anyone request the type S clear diffusers? I have '05 lights and just have the amber ones. I didn't know if I had to wait for someone to give up their diffusers or do you keep them on hand?

^^ I much rather have you send me those headlights for the work , I can pretty much take care of any scratch, as long as its not a deep gouge or cut.

If you do decide to send it in then I can take care of the headlights same day that they come in and ship them out the next day.
