custom exhaust

I would not pay $1100 for comptechs exhaust I am in the process of doing my exhaust. I am getting a high flow cat bigger piping and 2 magnaflow chrome mufflers (deep sounding) instaled for $600 and im having py tips diped in chrome for $100 so ill have a better looking exhaust that will produce more power and i have the ability to choose which muffler i want (to choose how loud or deep i want it) for $400 less. im not going to pay comptech $1100 for a $600 exhaust and i dont seguest anybody else does. i will post pictures as soon as possible. and answer any questions. bottom line is if we pay comptech for their overpriced products they will continue to overcharge us, the are doing this because they know they are the only one with the exhaust out and people will pay whatever the ask because people want to get it on the car and to be the first one to jump on this sight and brag about how they are the first one with the exhaust. like we used to do in elementry school when a new toy came out.

P.S. im sorry for the posts about gutting the cat and sparkplug wires that was my younger brother who is still used to ghetto riging his car.

dont forget before and after dyno results that will show if your custom exhaust has improved over the well designed factory hi flow exhaust. :blaze:

my setup uses magnaflow street series stainless steel mufflers with 2.25" piping from the cat to the y-pipe (magnaflow) and 2.5" to each mufflers and it's badass!!

i get a lot of compliments about the sound and it definitly gave me some extra power..

you wont be disappointed.. magnaflow products are great

i did not get dino results before install and i have i cai installed already so i will just have to compare to other peolpes cars to see how much of the gain was, comptech sais theirs gains 6-7 hp so mine should be at least the same if not better. plus it will look better for a little more than half the price.

as for chrome diping the tips i think it a good idea and it will get a good shine, better than factory and i want to share my idea with everybody else. i dont want to be like the rest of the little kids on this sight that do stuff just to grag they are the first. i hope alot of people start doing their exhausts like mine and other people on this sight that refused to give comptech all that money for thier overpriced system.
