GOD DAMNIT !!! WHY ME, WHY ME, WHY ME ???

So, today will be the fifth time somebody has hit my car and i cant take it anymore.

I have HIN car show on saturday, and i have to have my car back by friday. So today, an older woman backed up right into my car while it was parked!!

it is getting fixed on monday, should have it back by thursday. I will be going to HIN, and thats it !! I am selling her !!!

I think i am going to get a WDP or KBP 07 TL-S. this damn black car is cursed...




and of course, the damage is on BOTH DOORS !!! luckily, its not a major repair and should only take 2-3 days... this is bullsht....

It must be the curse of the blackura's. I had an black '00 civic (blackivic ) that seemed to have the same issues with attracting unwanted attention from SUV doors to shopping carts to bikes all while the car was standing still. I now have an '02 TL-S which I've had for about 3 weeks now and is also a blackura and already my son put a dent on the driver's side door with his bike. Maybe it's all black cars that have this problem. It's prejudice I tell you even in the auto industry can you believe that? Even still I prefer black cars over any other color.

people kept telling me black is bad luck & the car got hit when it was only 3 weeks old... and ever since then, every like 3 or 4 months somebody backs into me, or something. and in the past 2 weeks, i got hit twice !! a lil bump on the grill, the person took off !! this time, i knew the person who hit me

I feel your pain man, I do think it is hard to see a black car when it's up close. I'm just glad that it doesn't affect my insurance rate. Good luck on what you plan to do.

I totally know the feeling bro. I had my last car hit twice while it was parked AT WORK. Tell me why it was in the same freaking spot. Oh btw...it was a BLACK car also. I'm knocking on wood the WDP doesn't get hit. I keep my stuff parked far away from anyone now. I'm hoping it doesn't happen a 3rd time. Sorry to hear the bad news man. It totally sucks.

Maybe it's the state you live in bro, honestly everytime I go to NY I cringe because I think someone will hit my car. It's not that NY drivers suck, they're actually pretty good, but it's just that NY is so crowded that it makes it that much more likely someone will hit you.

FWIW my SSM 05 has been hit 3 times while parked since January -- twice on the back bumper and once in front. I always park as far away from potential door dings as possible and up till Jan I thought parking in the street for appts or shopping was relatively safe.

If it makes ya feel even better, black is hella easier to match than SSM, after the 1st rear bumper incident I had it fixed but the color is way off (pics long since removed from the server). Two weeks after it was "fixed" a RDX of all things rubbed the bumper again. So yeah, they're bumpers, it happens, but I feel your pain. I'm leaving them both alone for time being, seems there's too many idiots who drive by feel out there to keep making the repairs. It's my main vehicle (work, pleasure) so it's going to see some stuff, but it's July and I still shake my head everytime I look at those bumpers.

Sad day cause I got hit from the front and back. It was a 4 car accident. I was in the middle. I had my car tow. I drive a Toyota RAV4, I had my mind to get a TL next year when my insurance and registration expire. But I guess I'm getting a early present. I'm glad I'm okay and everybody too but I really want to get myself checked up soon. I'll post my picture soon.

I started to think that after my $ht got hit twice while parked in a parking lot 2 shuttles can pass each other on. (How the F can you hit a Jetta with that much space when its parked!?!?) I just park my car far out where nobody else feels like walking. It may be a pain in the ass but I can continue my day knowing its not getting backed into *knocks on wood*. Its sad you have to do that and it still doesn't mean some dumbass won't decide to park next to you way out there with his piece of $ht car knowing you parked it there for a reason.

Its a pain in the ass black but try parking your car far away from others...i think i do it mostly because its new but i really don't want my car getting tatted like my VW did before. Its enough to make me want to start punching someone. I know the feeling ..trust me. Keep your head up man and enjoy that beautiful TL of urs. I hope you took them to the cleaners for the repairs at least.
