Lightbulb Couple quick mod questions to get me started...

Haven't even put 300 miles on the new (to me) TL, but have to start putting the goodies on soon or I'll go insane... some quick questions for those who have done these mods:

1.) Deck Lip spoiler -- OEM vs. Spoilerstore.... obviously the OEM bolt-on will be more permanent (which is ok with me) but the spoilerstore version seems like an easier install and also cheaper (265 OEM vs 110 SS).... any advantage of going OEM on this one???

2.) Supercomputers Acura pedals.... can't seem to find them... looked on the excellerate website, nowhere to be found. Maybe I'm just a moron and am overlooking them, but if anyone knows where to find these, let me know?!

Depo Type-S tails and sides are ordered and on the way, should be ordering the full A-spec body kit tomorrow... hopefully it'll all be here in time to install it next week!!! Thanks in advance for the heads up on any/all of this stuff!

The spoiler store one comes painted as well (at least the $110 version does).

AnthraciteAspec -- thanks for the heads up on the pedals... i will email supercomputers tomorrow... dont know why i didnt find that thread...

as for the spoiler, I think both OEM and the spoilerstore ones come painted... obviously the OEM would be a better color match, but I cant see the spoilerstore one being too far off if so many people have used it... still though, i think i am leaning toward OEM simply b/c it is bolted on instead of using the 3M tape... just trying to get a feel from some ppl who've used the tape as to how well it works and how well it stays....

Guru, here's my pedal from Ultimate Pedals. They will fit the 2008 Base TL. They just screw on top of the existing rubber pedal. (Sorry this is pedal a little dirty). It's a 5 minute installation.

in all honesty, there really is no difference between the oem lip spoilers compared to the ss' spoilers. i've had my ss spoiler on for almost 4 years now, and it's still holding strong; haven't had ANY problems with it what so ever. in my opinion...ss>oem JUST IN THIS CASE though.

I 3M taped my TLS spoiler on and it hasnt budged for the 2 years that Ive had it on. So if your worried about the tape coming off, it wont if you put it on right. Just make sure you clean the surface and heat it up a bit that way the tape sticks better.
