since you drive an 05 your best bet would be to get the accord fog lights everyone has been retrofiting, and cutting the 04-06 grills slightly enough so create the look of the 07-08 foglights

Try ebay. They have a few pairs of the Accord fogs floating around and they probably have the OEM ones to.

the 07-08 foglight will fit in the 04-06 TL.... the 07-08 foglight is bigger than the accord foglight...depending on your preference... but more ppl did the accord fog instead of the oem 07-08 foglight because of the cost factor...

I'm suprised that no one has put the 07+ grills in and an aftermarket fog that fits the gaps well.

True OEM's are in the $270 range.

Knockoff's on ebay are in the $50 range

All before shipping....ebay is about $20.

I'm looking at doing the same but not sure what route to take either.

The 07+ grills will not fit in anything other than 07+ bumpers as someone already pointed out. They are larger than the 04-06 openings.

The accord fogs are pretty close to perfect but require cutting the existing grill and creative mounting.

Look up, psheu and tripnbeats said it can be done.....trip said he has done it. A quick search of trips picks pulled this up, so it can be done. I'm gonna pick up these grills and do my own. Trip whats the word on those brackets?

turning out pretty well. still a lot of fabrication to be done.....i got the car back yesterday from acura....so last weekend was a no go. But I test fitted a piece on my friends car and it looked pretty good. I was thinking of actually making notches in the plastic and folding them into the skirt kit or bumper itself for extra support.

Look in pheu's list. He replaced the whole bumper. I'm saying the 07/08 grills will not fit in a stock 04-06 bumper.

Not sure about tripnbeats, there isn't anything about his mod except that it's in the works.

This has been hashed over in other threads. Accord fogs fit with little work and 07/08 fogs need a new bumper or whatever tripn's doing.

Get accord fogs and go through the process of installing/modifing everything.

Want to make 07 base/ TL-S fogs work buy the entire front bumper with them already assembled in there and start wiring it up.

You can use the lower grill of an 07 just again you will need to mod everything again..

If your not really handy with a dremel but you don't care about prices... buy the Type-s Front bumper and have a shop wire up your fogs.

Yup, wound up selling on Fleabay and taking a $100 loss. Picked up the Accord lights, waiting for warm weather to do the install.
