Imagine if you would-the Cops version of "the Kia that got away" being told around the station!
"I couln't believe it, some guy blows past me at like 120, takes off, trys to hide in the left lane all casual and I fly past him, so I pull over expecting him to give up and pull over and stop
When Suddenly
(dramatic piano chase music here)
He pulls this unbelievable move across all lanes and gets the exit.
I watch the mirror expecting to see his lights tumble as he rolls the car
but somehow......
You can bet there is a new policy that says never leave an exit available to the suspect.
Whats it look like?? lets go to the video and everyone keep an eye out, anyone that deperate must have lots of things wrong inside the car with them!
And yes- I have enjoyed the sheer storytelling quality of this whole post!
Thanks to the person who did it for sharing

MASTER CHIEF- I'll be the only guy on here who says- good job, fuck the police and the government. One time I ran from the cops, TL navi makes an excellent getaway tool! Anyway, your 20- Don't fuck your life up when your 45, right!?! Get that shit out of your system now, cuz exhibition of speed/speed contests tickets stay for seven years. I'm 24 and still pay almost 300 bucks a month on car insurance, I will until im 26, cuz I was a stooopid little 19 yr old. Ps, I used to drive a kia-

California has a little known, relatively new law, allowing Police to SIEZE and IMPOUND a car they cite for racing.
They also have figured out that trying to get past one car or every car by blasting up the freeway on- ramp, they can consider THAT racing too!
Thats why they ask- is this YOUR car????
Newest rule I found they are using- Headlights must be 22 inches above ground
Check your lowered car to make sure
Nearly every car race track has a driver school where you bring your car and a pro driver rides with you and coaches and will play lead and follow too.
Great way to develope survival skills for the everyday craziness on the roads.

The cop gave him a ticket for 99mph in a 65mph zone, which my friend has plead not guilty to.
All he told the cop was he was sorry and that he was just trying to see the limits of his car. The cop was appretiative that he stopped and realized he made a big mistake, so he reduced the speed and did not impound the vehicles, which he could have done.

had he went to court, it may have gotten thrown out do to unlawful "arrest" - dosent have to be cuffed and/or obstruction of justice.
Thats what would happen here in WI at least... I dont know if that is state governed for federally governed.

as bad as this sounds your friend still got a ticket when i DID NOT so to be honest i still like my outcome better which proves running away SUCESSFULLY is better than slowing down and telling the truth.

That's true, yeah sometimes I just down shift and floor it just to let some people hear the intake and then slow down, I wonder what a cop would cite me for if they saw me do that. Probably for racing, which isn't cool.
