Comptech Supercharger?

Have they come up with a price yet?
What do you guys think?
How much more power will it add?
Will I have to mod the car further or can I just get that?
Will it bring it up over 300 HP?
Seems like it would beat most things on the road if that's the case.
Will it be covered under Acura?

Thanks

  • No.
  • I think they will run no more than 5.0psi (if that) because of the higher compression ratio.
  • 40hp, tops. The high compression ratio rearing its ugly head again.
  • Wouldn't hurt to get an exhaust too, but I agree with many on the board who think the Comptech exhaust is fugly.
  • At the crank, yes.
  • Well, kinda. There are a ton of fast cars out there nowadays. 300c Hemi, GTO, WRX, EVO, SRT-4, R32, Maxima, Altima, G35... The list goes on and on... You'll typically have no problem on freeway onramps, though :-)
  • Nope.

the dealer in pasadina in cali said that if i desided to go down with the big bucks on a SC, then they will cover it if something goes wrong. Check with your dealer, and you might be lucky.

but Aquineas pretty much said all the technical stuff about what the SC might bring

it would be nice to have a blower for this car but imagine the added torque steer that it will bring. only if the car was rwd. as of now, the car is just right.
