Question Comptech Springs Arrived...

Well...
I aggressively reached out to other dealers, because I can't wait till May, to see if they had springs in stock. Come to find out a nearby Acura dealership that Open Road in NJ deals with has them and they are picking them up for me.

Will have them installed on Friday.

This is there first time putting the springs on for this dealer. Is there anything I should tell them before they do the job to make their life easier? It says 2-3 hours and they are charging $50.00 per hour. Got the springs for $200.00.

Thanks for your help.

make sure that since they are installing it, that your suspension will still be under warranty, get it in writing if you can

We discussed it. They said they do...
Thanks
Will I really need to worry about that anyway? Will something go wrong with them? What should I do with the original springs?

You shouldn't have to worry about it, but if you suspension ever crapped during the warranty period, you would want it covered no? If installed properly they will be just fine and make your car look nice and improve handling! The original springs you could keep incase you ever wanted to go back or just as backup springs in case (knock on wood) something happened, or just sell them!

Yes... That's where I bought my car.
I have been pretty pleased with their service as well.

Glad you searched around a bit...there is an abundance of those springs and the other dealer you were taking to was full of sh**. The nice thing is that the $50.00/hours labor is very reasonable. Once they being taking out the rear seat and playing around a bit, I would anticipate them charging you for at least 4-5 hours labor, but who knows. Let us know how it goes, I think you'll be happy.
